As you can imagine, Parent Ministry regularly gets all kinds of questions.  Topics range from shots to safety, from packing to protocols. There are many unknowns when your children are about to embark on a trip around the world and the anxiety is real.  We understand that, and we strive to give you the information you need to relieve some of your fears, so you can let go of their journey and begin your own. 

The Racer journey and the parent journey are intricately linked.  Each has their own stages and we have found they are parallel pathways.  Throughout the Race, we have found that different questions come up at each juncture. Therefore, we have created a parent guide for you that covers them all!  Think of it like your guidebook for this year.

The table of contents includes many sections which are divided up to make it simple to navigate to the information you need.  You will find info about Adventures in Missions, how we partner well and protect the dignity of those whom we minister to.  You will see how the World Race works including our discipleship process, our expectations of Racers, our leadership structure, how to handle emergencies, and a whole host of other topics. 

We also include how we partner with parents, including what Parent Ministry’s role is, and ways to communicate and stay connected with us while your Racer is on the Race, including our confidentiality policy for communication on the FB groups.  There are Frequently Asked Questions on numerous topics, and live links which connect you directly to anything you might need.  In essence, we have compiled all the individual sheets we used to give out at launch into one digital place for your convenience, in the Appendix.  We update the guide often with the most recent information.
